SNOW SNOW SNOW

I cannot believe how much snow we have had this year!  I am ready for spring...but I am not so sure when that will happen at this rate!  Fortunately, the boys LOVE to play outside in the snow, but they cannot last too long out there because it is so cold.  These pics are from the last big snowstorm that we had.  We have not had this much snow in years!  Jeff was able to build his second snowman of his whole life all by himself, which he was pretty proud of.  Jake and Cole started to help, but ended up sledding at the neighbors house while Jeff finished it.  They decided to name him Frosty.  (original, I know.)  

Jeff's 30th birthday

Sorry honey, but thirty does kind of sound old...the other day, Jake asked Jeff if he was going to have to get a "chair" now that he is 30.  And Cole is constantly reminding him that he is an 'old man'.  Don't know where those two came from, but they sure can come up with some pretty funny things.  Jeff's birthday was fun--the boys stayed with grandma and grandpa--we went to Midway for a couple of days.  Unfortunately, we could not do the cruise I have been dreaming of for the last year and a half as I don't think a cruise ship would let me on their boat 36 weeks pregnant!  Oh well...maybe next year.  

What to do when it is 19 degrees outside....

Apparently, the thing to do is beat up on each other when it is too cold to do anything else!  You gotta love boys.  Jake and Cole were having a sleepover at grams and pa Randy's house and were sleeping in the same bed.  According to Cole, Jake attacked him with his bear claw fingernails all down his face!  Cole retaliated the next morning by throwing a dinosaur at Jake and cutting him on the head.  I have a hard time believing that Jake started both arguments though.  Cole tends to be quite the tease and loves to see if he can get a rise out of his brother.  Jake will take it until he has had absolutely enough... so, obviously Cole got the worst of it as you can tell by his face, but sometimes I think he may deserve it a little bit!

Olivia & Cole

Cole and his cousin baby Olivia...(Jake would not get in the pictures with them--of course he was too busy playing that darn Mario Party 8 on the wii.  I am not so sure what we were thinking when he got that thing for Christmas!)  She is such a beautiful baby!  And I cannot believe how good she is--always sleeping and I don't think I ever heard her cry until 3:00 in the morning.  That first night we heard her, Jeff and I asked ourselves what in the world we have gotten ourselves into again, having another baby...and only weeks away!  Fortunately you forget how busy new babies are!!!
