The month of June

Wow. I cannot believe it is already the end of June. Summer is almost half way over and I feel like it still has not even begun. Hmmm. Where to begin with our last few months. Maybe the thing that has made the biggest impact on us... we moved! It still does not feel real and has been a huge roller coaster ride with many tears. We did not think that our house would sale for AT LEAST six months, but two weeks later we got an offer and three weeks after that, it was signed away. We are living in Murray until Jake gets done with his chemo treatments and then all fingers are pointing to Dallas. There is still a chance we will not move there, but at the moment, that is what looks like will be happening. Crazy! I still cannot seem to wrap my head around the fact that we have moved out of OUR house and someone else is living there and we will not be going back. It makes me very sad, thus the many tears that have been shed over the last few weeks.

The rest of the last couple of months have been crazy while trying to pack up our home and everything that goes on with the end of a school year...

***Cole graduated from preschool! He was in love with his teacher this year and is still refusing to go to kindergarten. He wants to "stay in Miss Siri's class forever." I don't know how she would feel about that considering he spent at least one day a week in time out in the 'principals' office. Lucky us. We have apparently got a child that is the class clown. He loves to get everyone to laugh and tends to go a little overboard at school sometimes.

I have to admit I was very impressed that he sang the whole time. Except for the last song. "Thanks a lot". He hates it. And sat with his arms folded and slouched in his seat the whole song. They have sung this song for every program they have done the last two years and each time he has done the same thing. It made me giggle through the whole song. Stubborn child.

***And of course we have been swimming a lot. Crew has learned to go down the water slide by himself and thinks he can keep up with Jake and Cole in the pool. I have to admit... I thought my other two kids were scary in the pool, but this child has nothing on them. He has NO fear whatsoever and has taken to the water like a fish. It is fun to watch him, but you cannot take your eye off of him for two seconds! webIMG_0018

***Our wonderful friends we met on our Disney Cruise came into town and we were able to spend a little bit of time with them! It is amazing after not seeing them for a year and only talking to them every once in awhile what great friends they have become! It was fun to watch our cute kids play together... it was like they just saw each other yesterday rather than a year ago and took off right where they left off. Those little girls were all we heard about for the next week or so and both boys were so disappointed we did not get to see them more.

***Our favorite home health care nurse was able to stop by for a visit! We have not seen her in quite awhile and it was so fun to be able to catch up with her. She was one of the good things that came out of the cancer thing. She will never have any idea how much she helped during those rough months! Love her. She is one of those angels on earth.

***We have found that we have another speed demon on our hands. Three out of three children to want to go as fast as they can everywhere they go. I have a feeling we will be in the ER quite often with them on our hands. What can we say? They are their father's children through and through. We walked outside one day to find Crew driving the jeep all by himself with the goggles on.

***And finally, I get to have almost two weeks ALMOST child free. Jeff's mom came down to help us move (we would still be moving out if it was not for her help!) and took Jake and Cole back home with her and then to LA for a week. Jeff was gone this last week too, so it has been just me and Crew. We are going to pick them up in the next couple of days. I miss them like crazy! Two weeks is about a week and a half to long! It has been nice to be able to catch up on some things but now we are ready for them to come back.

Hello all!

As we are in the midst of packing up our house, we are coming across five bazillion things we need to get rid of. One of which are these pettiskirts that we have no room for. I am selling them at cost plus what I paid for shipping if anyone would like one. I have four or five left. Let me know if you want one. They are way cute and little girls LOVE them! They will be $49. They go for about $80 to $90 in the stores. They all have to go within the next week and a half and I really don't want to have to stick them on ebay because I am lazy and have no time, so let me know if you would like one. Email me at hjamieson@mac.com. Happy days to all.
