June 15th- July 7th

July 7th:
Wherever he goes, the other one follows.  People have started asking if they
are twins.  Even I have a hard time telling them apart when they are far away.
They are three and a half years apart and almost the same size and pretty
much attached at the hip.

July 6th:
Milkshakes and dinner at the best hole-in-the-wall diner we have found.
July 5th:
Four of my people.  They are all kinds of awesome.

July 4th:
Happy Independence Day!  We spent the day at the lake with friends and eating
food.  Fireworks at home.  It was a good day.

July 3rd:
Tired baby wore herself out playing peek-a-boo over the side of the boat
with daddy and feel asleep standing up.  Maybe we should think about
giving her a nap...

July 2nd:
Small town rodeos are the best.

July 1st:
She loves him.  She calls him "Cole-Cole" and drags him every which
way to do what she wants.  And he always does.

June 30th:
Farmer's market finds.

June 29th:
The ruffly bum.  Come on.  Cutest ever.  I really like having a girl.  Can you tell?

June 28th:
Dirt and motorcycles.  And I promise I dress her and bathe her.  Sometimes.

June 27th:
I kinda like him.  A lot.

June 26th:
Baby girl is nineteen months.  Where has the time gone?  Every person
that lives in our house worships the ground she walks on.  This means she
gets every single thing she wants.  We are creating a monster.
Her new favorite words are, "no, mine and go-way".  She is feisty
and girly and funny.  She is independent and wants things
her own way.  She loves dirt and water.  She loves her shopping cart.
For about a month, we would tell her we were leaving and she
would run straight to her shopping cart to push it outside to bring
it with us.  I am embarrassed to admit we brought it with us more
often than not.  It wasn't worth the fight.  She loves Ariel and Elsa.
When you ask her, "What does the little mermaid say?",  She sings.  And
it may be the cutest thing of all time.  But around here, every thing she does
is the cutest thing of all time.

June 25th:
Giggles and watermelon and swimmin'.

June 24th:
Another day.  Another day spent at the lake.

(They found every flotation device in the trailer and somehow attached
it to him.  I think he was still dry after he jumped into the water.)

June 23rd:
Summer and water just seem to go together these days.

June 22nd:
Bubbles and a baby.

June 21st:
Happy Father's Day to the most awesome dad.  I could not have picked
anyone better.  I am so glad he is all mine.  Those four boys make me
crazy happy.

June 20th:
This boy and one ski only.  He is quite excited if you can't tell by the
expression on his face.

June 19th:
Baby girl at her last swim lesson.  I am still amazed someone is
able to teach a baby to do this.  She loves the water and still hates the
lessons.  Stubborn child.

June 18th:
Lazy days of summer.

June 17th:
Things I want to remember:  The way her hand automatically goes to
her hair the second her bottle goes into her mouth.  It is her comfort spot.
She has always pulled on her hair and it has
become more and more of a habit the older she has become.

June 16th:
Bugs and Boys.

June 15th:
The only picture I was able to get today... the boys are at water ski camp.
They are in their little piece of heaven.  Seventeen kids, lots of food,
games, camping and of course waterski training.  They each ran a
personal best and Crew even finally got up on that one ski.  (Hallelujah.  I could
kiss whoever gave him the confidence that he could finally do it.  No more
sitting in the 110 degree heat every time we are at that dang lake trying to get him
up.)

june 1st- jun 14th

June 14th:
Her very well used and worn moccasins.  I am in love with
her footprints molded onto the bottom.

June 13th:
Orange freeze, please.

June 12th:
This is what happens when you have three big brothers.  There is
always someone there to entertain you.  You get whatever you want.
And the three of them take turns pushing you around as fast as they
can go with all of your toys for close to an hour.

June 11th:
Great-grandma.  Gramsies.  And mom.  So grateful these
two ladies came to visit for the week.

June 10th:
A visit to Old Sac for the day in the perfectly perfect rainy weather.

June 9th:
Pampering the princess.  As usual.

June 8th:
A day trip to Point Reyes lighthouse.  It was quite the drive.  But worth it.
So amazing to see.

June 7th:
His attempt at a chalk art drawing.

June 6th:
Their first swim meet of the season.  Cole and Crew's first swim meet... ever.

 June 5th:
Girly hands.  I mean, really?

June 4th:
How do we now have a kid in middle school?  I swear to you, I was in
middle school yesterday.  He is so excited.  And we are so proud of him.

Two separate posts today.  Because this deserves a spot as well.  Jeff lived
one of his dreams and attended the NBA finals.

June 3rd:
New bunk beds.  Crew could not be happier.  Me?  I hate bunk beds.  Despise
them actually.  Well then.  Why did I buy them?  It was probably because
my twelve year old was sleeping on the couch and we needed somewhere to put
him to bed at night.  Weirdly enough, he was extremely disappointed when
he came home to bunk beds.  He wanted to continue to sleep in his room on
the couch.

 June 2nd:
Sandals and swings.

 June 1st:
Just a boy.  Who makes me crazy.  I love him.
