Our Tiny Little Tim
Crew's new favorite thing to do is play outside. He thinks he is one of the big boys and gets offended if they leave him behind while playing outside. He will stand at the back window and pound at the door until someone comes and gets him. It is awfully cute, but annoying at the same time. Thursday, Jaker's was at school and Crew had pounded on the door until me and Cole took him out. Cole loves to take him down the slide with him and had done this several times when he lost his balance at the bottom and fell on top of Crew. Crewsers started screaming--I didn't think much of it as he face-planted in the grass and was green with grass stains. I took him in and gave him a bottle. I did not realize anything was wrong until I put him on the ground and he would just collapse on his right leg and start crying once again. Lovely. Just one more thing to worry about. That and my doctor probably thinks I am insane because we have been into see him more times I can count over the last few weeks due to ear infections and a possible mild case of pneumonia. So I waited to see if the poor leg would get better. Of course it didn't. Friday morning I had to work and then we spent the rest of the afternoon at Primarys. Our home away from home! We had x-rays done and there was no visable break, but the doctor said he is pretty sure it is broken, it just will not show up on the x-ray until it starts to heal. They put him in a splint which goes from his foot to his thigh which has been lovely. If anyone knows me, I have a weirdness for bathing my kids. It drives me nuts when I can't bathe them. OCD maybe? Anyway he is kind of stinky because we have to do sponge baths. And he thinks he should still be able to walk on that leg. So we have had a few more bumps than we should have (like falling down the stairs for example). It is actually kind of cute to watch him with his little leg. Love this kid. There is never a dull moment with little boys around, that is for sure!

Make a Wish--Part 2... finally!
All right... here is the rest of our trip that I am sure you have been anxiously waiting for!:)
The day after we went to Naussau, we woke up to Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. It was amazingly BEAUTIFUL!
This is the view from our room. I could have sat and stared all day and been content!
Jake and Jeff had to run out the door the second they woke up because they got to feed and swim with sting rays. We don't have any pictures of it because Jakers was a little afraid to get close to them. For some reason he is petrified of the tail on the end of them! (I am too after I saw that gigantic one yesterday!)
Me and Cole met them at Stingray Cove and went on to the beach when they were done, where we played all day. Cole did have to take a short break to visit Goofy. We had passed Mickey on the way to the beach, but were in a hurry to catch Jeff and Jake, but he was so anxious about the whole thing so I took him back to see him, of course, Mickey was gone. Coletrain was NOT pleased with me... "Mom! You made Mickey leave!!" (he was practically crying at this point) Cole loves Mickey and always has. He is the only person he wanted to meet while we were on the ship. Anyways... we met Goofy instead and went back and played with Jeff and Jakers!
Pirates of the Carribean... "The Flying Dutchman"
My hot sexy hubby! Can you say P90X baby??!!
We rented bikes for a while and drove around the island. We made it back with surprisingly few injuries. Cole fell down, maybe, six or seven times. I lost track after awhile. I am not sure how he kept driving off the road and into the rocks, but somehow he managed to do it plenty of times!
Our incredible sandcastle building skills... I know. We are amazing!
We had to leave the beach and be back on the ship by 4:15 because we were invited to meet someone special! There were about five other wish families on board and we were lucky enough to have a private showing of... dum da dada!! MICKEY MOUSE! Cole was in heaven!
While we were meeting Mickey, we started talking to one of the other wish families on board. Turns out they have a six year old little girl with the same kind of leukemia as Jake has. Her name is Kate and she will be done with treatments this June. Needless to say, she and Jake wanted to spend every single second together after they met. When Jeff asked Jakers why he liked her so much, his response was, "Well dad... first of all I like her silliness. But, she is six like me, she has the same kind of cancer as I do AND she has a port just like me!" I have to admit, we had a few giggles out of that one... what more could you want in a friend? Cancer, a port and six years old!
Every night the ship had a broadway musical. We missed the first one, but went to the Toy Story one and another one called Disney Dreams. They were amazing! We were worried that the boys would not sit through them, but they were completely entranced the whole time. They are still quoting lines from Toy Story and talk about how funny Peter Pan was in Disney Dreams.
Jakers and Kate at the Disney Dreams musical
The family that we met also had a little girl that was Cole's age. Are they not the cutest little girls you have ever seen? Those dimples are so yummy!
Cole and sassy little miss Ava
Love my boy!!!
A beautiful sunset at sea!
They had every Disney character on board that you can possibly imagine. The only one I don't think we met was Captain Jack Sparrow. Although, we did not meet the 'gil' (girl) princesses either! "Because, I not a gil!" (Life according to Coletrain.)
Cole was afraid of Captain Hook and refused to even stand next to him!
It kind of makes me giggle to look at these of Coletrain. I don't know if he is just shy or scared to death. He has the same look in all of those pictures with the characters. Love that child.
The last day, we were at sea all day so we just played in the pools all day long. We did go to the arcade for about an hour (That is all I can handle of that place!) It was so nice and so relaxing to sit and do nothing. Oh... and eat all the food you want. Especially the ice cream. I bet we had at least 4 or 5 bowls a day each. It was so yummy!
(Don't you love Jake's 'fake' smile? He cracks me up!)
Thursday morning, we were off the ship by about 9:00. Just to prove how much our kiddos loved this trip... they both cried when they had to leave. They wanted to stay forever!
We rented a car and drove straight to Disney World and were able to spend the day there and then left Friday afternoon. What a wonderful trip! I am so sad that it is already over. My boys are already planning and saving their money so we can go again. Make a wish is an incredible organization. I cannot even begin to tell you what this trip did for our family. The last year has been so extremely difficult... this literally made us forget all about it and be able to enjoy life and not worry about the difficulties that always seem to lie ahead.

Make a Wish Trip--part one
Where to even begin? We were able to have Jake's wish granted last week. We went on a 4-night Disney Cruise to the Bahamas. This was honestly the best trip we have ever taken. The boys were in heaven the second we stepped on that plane. I have so many pictures I want to post, it is almost embarrassing! hehe! We left early Saturday morning and flew to Florida.
The ship did not leave port until Sunday afternoon, so Saturday night, we swam and then rented a movie and went to bed early!
Sunday, we were able to get on the ship at 1:00. It was kind of fun when we got on... they had someone announce who your family was as you stepped on the ship over a loudspeaker and a whole bunch of people clapping and welcoming you on board--the boys thought that was pretty cool! The second we got on the ship, we HAD to go swimming and go down the Mickey Mouse slide we had seen online so many times. And then of course we went to the Bon Voyage party with all of the Disney Characters.
The next morning, we woke up to Naussau! There were a ton of excursions you could choose from...we chose to go to the Atlantis' water park... it was amazing! The only thing those two little boys wanted to do was play in the lazy river, which was not so lazy. It was more like a raging rapids river! It was so much fun!
Playin' on the beach and in the waves!
One of those waves completely took Jake out and literally threw him up on the beach. It was hilarious! He was covered from head to toe with sand. (we are still finding it places you don't want to know about!:)
You can't tell so much from this picture, but that sting ray is HUGE. Seriously, it is as big as our car. I think I would be more scared to meet that thing in the ocean than a shark!
Yeah. Um...do you see why I need more than one post? Maybe I should have done a slide show!!:) Alright... that is enough for now! I will finish this up as soon as I can!
