May 9th- May 15th

 May 15th:
A baby caught with her hand in the rice krispie jar

 May 14th:
4th grade wax museum.  Jeff pushed the Mark Spitz button close to ten times
in a row.  I don't think Mark was too thrilled with him.

May 13th:
Popsicles and trampolines.

May 12th:

May 11th:
Little boys on a hill.

 May 10th:
Happy Mother's Day!  I am so grateful for these four little people.  They make
life more fulfilling and fun and crazy than I ever could have dreamed it could be.

May 9th:
All packed and ready for a long flight home.

April 24th- May 8th

May 8th:
Our last stop was on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.  I think this was
our favorite stop of the whole trip.  I want to live here.  We stayed until the last
possible second and even then, no one wanted to leave.

I will have put up more pictures from this trip.  (I am still playing catch
up on this picture everyday thing because it put me so far behind.)
This really and truly was the trip of a lifetime.  I cannot
say enough good things about it.  Perfect.  That may be the only word
I can use to describe it.  Crew sobbed.  And sobbed.  And sobbed the night
before we left.  And then he cried for a straight week when we got home.  I think
we all wanted to cry when we had to get off the ship.  Sometimes I want to
cry because I want to go back.

May 7th:
I mean, really?  There are just no words.  Baby girl and Elsa.  Can we please
stay here forever?

May 6th:
Puerto Rico.
One day I will come back here and stay for a week just to explore.  We toured the
fort in the morning and then flew kites out in front of it.    We walked back
to the ship but stopped and ate
the best fish tacos I have ever had.

May 5th:
Our first stop was in St. Thomas.  We took a cab to a beach and played all day.

May 4th:
another day at sea

May 3rd:
Be still my heart.  These two.  We were at sea all day today.

 May 2nd:
Today we got on the ship.  I quite love Disney.  And everything Disney.  And
this may be the best trip ever so far.

May 1st:
Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom

 April 30th:
Universal Studios
One day I will be a witch and live in Harry Potter world.  This has been on
our bucket list for years.  I wanted to stay forever.  As did my boys.

 April 29th:
Day 1:  We spent the morning at the Animal Kingdom and the afternoon at
the Epcot Center.

I was so excited to see how this girl would react to the characters.  She did not disappoint.
She loved them from far away.  Up close and personal?  She was not so sure.

 April 28th:
The day we have been anticipating for months is finally here.  We are on a
plane to Florida.  Three days in Disney World.  Seven days on the Disney
Fantasy Cruise ship.  We.  Cannot.  Wait.

 April 27th:
"This is how old cowboys used to fall asleep to keep the sun out of their eyes."
And then, he promptly fell asleep.
(words of wisdom by Cole.)

April 26th:
Her time out spot.  She doesn't look like she is too disappointed about it.  I may need to find another way to reign in all that sass.

April 25th:
The weekend that took us back in time 15 years... We were asked to be 'crew chiefs' for youth conference this weekend.  We were given a group of kids to be in charge of.  It was seriously awesome.  It made me kind of want to go back and be an EFY counselor again.  And then I realized my own kid will be going to EFY in two years.  I cried.

April 24th:
Cleaning a house and packing bags.  It is not fun.

April 7th- April 23rd

April 23rd:

April 22nd:
If she can find a necklace, it belongs to her.  Cole left out all of his medals and was not to thrilled to come home and find out that she had claimed every single one of them, (even though she could barely walk as they were so heavy.)

April 19th:

This picture was obviously not taken this year.  Seven years ago today, this baby boy was diagnosed with leukemia.  At the time this particular picture was taken, we did not know if he was going to survive.  He was five and a half years old and had dropped down to 33 pounds.  He stopped talking, walking, eating.  He had to be put back into pull ups because he couldn't make it to the bathroom.  Jeff and I would put him to bed at night wondering if he was going to wake up in the morning.  The doctors could not figure out what was wrong with him.  He is our miracle boy.  He fought and survived and won.  There are still battles we are fighting today because of his cancer, but he is a fighter and is overcoming those obstacles everyday.  I know I have said it a million and one times, but I will be forever grateful for this boy.  He has taught me more than anyone can possibly imagine.  I am so grateful he is mine.

April 18th:

I can handle frogs.  I cannot handle the snakes they find.  They have learned quickly not to bring scaly things into the house...

April 17th:

April 16th:

A field trip to the zoo with a pretty cute first grader.
