Heidi took the boys to her dad's pool the other day with some friends in our neighborhood. Crew fell asleep in his floatie! Cole played like crazy as did Jakers. He has the coolest little buddies! One of his buddies came running up to me when I saw him and told me he cut his hair so he could be like Jake!!! In fact, Heidi's dad has a rameumptum...I mean tower to get to his water slide and Jake's little buddy helped him all the way up the stairs. Heidi said it took like 20 mins! We just feel so lucky to be surrounded and supported by so many great people. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts. They mean so much right now.

Swear Words!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our new clinic day is on Tuesday's. The home health people came and accessed Jakers port on Monday and drew blood to make sure his levels were good so we could do the spinal tap on Tues. We are in phase 2 now and he will have spinal tap's this last Tues and the next two Tuesday's. He also had to get two shots that are very painful. He was a STUD!! He did so good. We love our Nintendo DS!!!! After last week's nightmare, this week was great...until our doctor came in and said that the spinal tap results showed an increased white blood count level. It means one of two things. First, it is just irritation and the body is reacting to all the spinal tap's and chemo he's had. Two, it means the cancer is incredibly rapid and it's back and we are in a lot of trouble...although that's not how she said it but that's what option 2 was. As you can imagine it was a long 24 hours. Only 10% of all patients have an increased white blood count and only 1 in a gazillion have the cancer come back the week after they are put in the low risk category and are in remission. Luckily I have a strong wife because I was a wreck! The absolute most difficult thing about what we are going through is just how tired you get...physically and mentally. And it's tougher for me mentally. It almost seems never ending at times. We finally talked to the doctor on Wed and she said it is just irritation. Thank goodness.

I was also a nervous wreck that day and was SO incredibly grateful that the results came back positive. Even though it may not feel like it at times, you are definitely being watched over and blessed. I pray every day that you will have blessings poured out on your family. Hang in there. We love you guys!
I'm glad that the results came back in your favor! It's the waiting and not knowing that kills you. Hang in there, and try to keep the bad words to a minimum.... the kids are listening!!
